Arnab Majumder, Sting Newz Correspondent, Krishnagar: In a significant development in the case of the girl’s body recovery in Krishnanagar, the investigating officer has been removed from the case. Sub-Inspector Sumit Kumar De, who was previously in charge of the investigation, h as been replaced by Inspector Kaushik Sau.
Although no clear explanation has been provided by the police as to why Sub-Inspector Sumit Kumar De was removed, sources from the Krishnanagar Police District have revealed that, given the sensitive nature of the case, a higher-ranking officer was appointed to handle the investigation.
Inspector Kaushik Sau has already taken over the responsibility of leading the case, and the local residents are eagerly awaiting further developments.
