Ex-CRPF Jawan shot dead his friend in Nadia’s Palashipara

Sting Newz Service, Nadia: A man was shot dead by his friend over illicit affair at Palashipara in Nadia on Sunday morning at about 7:30 a.m.

The deceased was identified as Subhas Biswas (45). He was a resident of Bijaynagar village of Palashipara area. He was a coal trader. He used to provide coal to local Bricks field. He earned a good name in the locality in coal proving business to Bricks field.

Police sources said, Subhas Biswas was shot dead by his friend Bibhas Biswas, an ex-CRPF Jawan when he was sitting in a fertilizer shop beside Betai-Palashi State Road near BDO office More at Palashipara. After killing, Bibhash fled from the spot. The incident occurred about 200 miters away from Palashipara.

It is reported that Subhas was rushed to local Palashipara Hospital where he was declared brought dead. The accused fired two round which directly stuck to the chest of the deceased Subhash.

Sources said, police recovered two covers of the bullets from the spot.
After that, the family members blocked Betai-Palashi State Road for 15 minutes in demand of immediate arrest of the culprit. After getting the assurance from the police, they withdrew their road blockade.

Police said, Primary investigation revealed that the motive behind this murder is illicit relation between deceased Subhas Biswas and wife of the accused Bibhas Biswas.

Nadia police super Rupesh Kumar told Sting Newz, “There was no arrest till now. The motive of the murder is extra marital affair. Investigation is going on.”

But the family of the deceased refuted the issue of illicit affair. The family claimed that there is a business issue behind the murder.

Sources said, the family of the accused Bibhas Biswas is in Bricks field business.

Police said, the accused went absconding after the incident. Police is searching the killer for arrest.

However, a sources said, Police detained the 2nd brother Kalu Biswas of the accused for introgation.

Police recovered the body and sent it for post mortem.
