Annual Prize Distribution, Cultural Programme, and Picnic Held for the First Time at Khajuri Primary School

Sting Newz Service: For the first time, Khajuri Primary School, under Nadia Sadar Circle No. 1, organized its annual prize distribution ceremony, cultural programme, and a picnic on February 6, 2025. The event commenced officially at 11 AM with a morning procession. In this procession, students of the school marched in an orderly manner across the village. Along with the teachers and students of Khajuri Primary School, teachers and students from Khajuri Junior High School also participated.

During the event, medals were awarded to the first, second, and third rank holders of each class, along with prizes. Additionally, 15 students who excelled in regional sports competitions were honored with medals.

Along with the prize distribution, a cultural programme was arranged. Many students actively participated in various performances, including dance, music, poetry recitation, drawing, and quiz competitions.

The event was graced by respected local dignitaries, parents, former students of the school, and teachers from nearby schools.

Teacher Suman Bhattacharya stated, “After the event, we organized a picnic for all the students. The menu included rice, chicken, chutni, and Nolen Gur Rasogolla.”

Another teacher, Aishwarya Das said, “Our event was a great success. The students were very happy. We plan to continue this programme every year.”

The local residents expressed their joy upon witnessing such an event. Villagers stated that since the school’s establishment in 1961, this was the first time such a grand programme had been organized.
